LEARNING STRANDS are the consecutive sequence of levels in a student's chosen group format. The school prefixes the dates of defined levels in each strand
.
Amira's SMALL GROUP programmes have a wide choice of different lesson times, meeting days, lessons per week, in-person or online.
The school's group courses are usually at levels between A1.1 and B2.2, with a special focus on Higher and Advanced French for expats at levels B2.3-C1-C2
You will find fellow students here from all over the world in Amira’s large programme of group courses.
1. Structure of Amira's LEARNING STRANDS
The curriculum is divided into the European levels, each representing a stage of proficiency in the language.
Consecutive levels from one group cycle to the next are planned together in LEARNING STRANDS.
Each strand represents a continuous pathway for learning, ensuring smooth progression from one level to the next.
2. Pre-fixed Dates
By providing the dates for each level in advance, students can plan their learning journey more effectively.
This clarity helps to create certainty about the programme, making it easier for students to schedule their time and align their commitment with their learning goals.
3. Booking for one or multiple levels
Students can book each level separately, providing flexibility to join at an appropriate level based on their skills and needs.
They may choose to continue to the next level or stop at the end of their booking without being committed to complete a strand.
4. Benefits:
Continuity: By organising the curriculum into LEARNING STRANDS, students can easily move from one level to the next without any gaps in their learning.
Flexibility: Allowing separate bookings enables students to enter the program at the right level for them and proceed at their own pace.
