Amira uses European language levels and smaller Amira half-levels to help you join the right class and progress step by step.
Beginners (European Reference Level A1)
A1.0: A slow start for people new to European languages: sounds, pronunciation, essential vocabulary and first grammar.
A1.1: A lively beginners’ course using Dutch from the start for introductions, numbers, shopping, directions and everyday situations.
A1.2: Everyday conversations at the neighbour, town hall, bank, market, post office, school or with a landlord.
Intermediate (A2)
A2.1: Express your personality, talk about work, leisure and projects, and make arrangements.
A2.2: Use Dutch more creatively and consolidate the structures needed for conversation.
Higher - Advanced (B1 - B2)
B1.1: Take firmer control of everyday life in Dutch, for example at the garage, on the phone or in a dispute.
B1.2: Join in faster group conversations, contribute your views and become more confident in writing.
B2.1 - B2.2 - B2.3: Practical fluency, advanced grammar and complex professional discussions.
Proficiency (C1 - C2)
